The happiest place on earth. Now I know what you’re thinking, but it’s not disney! Happy Valley in State college is truly the happiest place ever!
State College, Pennsylvania is the beloved home of Penn State University. The famous university is iconic for many reasons. the beautiful campus has so much to do and see while you are there.
Football games there are like no other. The famous “White Out” football games at beaver stadium are something every football fanatic needs to experience
“The atmosphere inside Beaver stadium is crazy and awesome at the same time. The hype of the White out game was like no other.” says Penn State alumni, Mark Black.
There are great pubs, bars, and drives to stop by and get a great bite to eat downtown. The waffle shop is great for everything, especially breakfast lovers. And if you are into the sweet stuff, Berkey Creamery is the place for you. It’s ice cream is made fresh in State College. My favorite flavors are Death by Chocolate and their famous Sticky Buns flavor.
Also while in State College, you can stop down to Rec Hall and watch the seven time winner of the NCAA Women’s Volleyball Championship play, the lady lions! But be sure to get there early because they have limited seating. Their pep band is also just as fun to watch. you can enter in different raffles at the games and win prizes, such as more Penn State gear.
